How we establish prices

Our goal is to help sell your surplus. We will provide market analysis to establish realistic opening bid prices. Items with reserves will only be accepted in special circumstances and requires disclosure to potential buyers.  The market will speak, there are no guarantees on which items will garner the most interest – our experience has shown that we typically meet/exceed pricing estimates on the sum of the items, individual items can vary based on demand, market, and location. 

Photos and Videos

The more the better

Photos are the key to maximizing returns to the seller and peace of mind for the buyer.  The more the better.  Clean the clutter.  Take photos of all sides, inside, serial tags, software and operating system.  Videos of the system operating is highly recommended on higher value items.  Our data shows videos can boost bids totals up to 20%. 

Accuracy

Imagine you are the buyer

Items must be accurately represented. Any issues must be disclosed, and missing parts should be listed. Example : If you plan to remove nozzles from a pick and place it should be documented in the listing template and pictured as such. Please document any machine passwords necessary for operation.

Handling the Removal

Establish what services you are willing to provide for buyers

Sellers that are willing to assist with removal typically result in higher sale prices.  Can you load a dock high truck? Do you have a local rigging contact we can pass along to buyers? Clearly defined expectations result in smoother transactions.
